THE BIBLE

The 66 books of the Old and New Testament are the verbally inspired Word of God. They are inerrant in the original writing, infallible, and God-breathed. They are our final authority for faith and life.

GOD

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit eternally existent as three persons. They are equal in their being, their nature, their power, and in their glory. Each have the same attributes and are perfect in all ways.

JESUS CHRIST

He is the eternal Son of God. While remaining God, he became a man through conception by the Holy Spirit being born to a virgin named Mary. Doing this to reveal God to the world and redeem sinful men and women.

The death of Jesus Christ on the cross was a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice for all human beings. This death was sufficient  as an atoning sacrifice to bring about redemption and justification for all who trust in Him. This redemption is assured by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead.

Jesus Christ ascended to heaven  where He is exalted at the right hand of God. He is our High Priest and represents, intercedes, and advocates on our behalf there.

 SALVATION

God provided all men and women this gift of His Grace, which is received only through personal faith in Jesus Christ. His blood was shed on a cross at Calvary to provide the forgiveness of our sins.

THE CHURCH

Is a spiritual organism that is the Body and the Bride of Jesus Christ. It is made up of all who are born again in Jesus Christ.

The local church has been established as defined throughout the New Testament

The local church is free from external control other than Jesus Christ as expressed in the New Testament.

The church participates as believers in the ordinances of water baptism and the Lord’s Supper until such time as Jesus Christ returns.
